Hard water residue?

Did the tank have a white film on the glass before you filled it?

How's the water chemistry?

I wiped down the tank before filling and I didn't notice a film (not saying there wasn't though) and I do have hard water.

For lack of a better term.....I guess eliminated would have been more applicable. Are you parcel posting me again?:ROFL:jjk ;) I have read that chlorimines leave a residual build up when eliminated chemically, which is as far as I know the only way to get rid of chlorimines....
 
when i mess around with my AC 70's sometimes the bio-max insert spits out little peices of white stuff

also, some alga scrubbers let out little white fibres when you use them for the first bit

once i had white filmy stuff come out of my tap into my fishtank
