Growth rate was so fast and actually my beani was bigger than bicuda.
Max size will not be a foot at least

what is the max size in captivity?
fishbase states 28cm.
you sure you didnt mix them up?
do you think it can catch up with cichla in terms of growth?

nah.
they naturally have that leaf thing on the beak.
not sure what its for though.
some say its to attract bugs.
