It would cost a lot to light it at 4 feet deep and it's such an odd size that I don't think many people would actually enjoy. Like it's 4 feet high, that's gonna make maintainer very hard jo matter what....
Dart frog tank? :D
Yep, just scrap the fish idea all together and have it turned into a dart frog tank or abboreal (I think that's the right word) lizard tank. 4 feet of open space would be heaven for branch dwelling animals.

Fill it half with water and half with epiphyte covered wood, add waterfall.

Keep monkeyfrogs,an eyelash viper in the arboreal portion and then go with central and South American community fish in the bottom

4 foot gravel vaccum anyone? Lol.

I was thinking about just sawing driftwood pieces flat then attaching them to the painted sides at various heights to kinda segment the tank. Maybe drilling 4 holes in the bottom section for returns and just using the top 2 holes for an in line heater.

What company did you get them from if you don't mind? I don't wanna risk ordering from them.

The funny thing is i could say any company that i harbored a grudge against and it would damage their reputation. I used to publicize info like this all the time but have since stopped because i dont think its a fair thing to do.

The tanks arent bad. Construction and materials are good. Seams could be better but they are solid with no bubbles. Just a lot of mix ups with my order it seems.

Ahh yes, I'm willing to bet that it was a mix up. My thinking was that if I found the company name I could do research on them and then see if I was right to not trust them.

Were there packing list or shipping labels on both boxes, and did you get a bill of lading from the courier?
