sorry man. I feel bad. Just have been having a hard time remembering all the details people tell me(especially at work) and balancing my time and obligations. I've been on the struggle bus lately lol.

They're probably not moving around much because there's a little ammonia, it's really warm, and your salting the tank. You'd have to do the same thing to the large tank. Just wait it out. If they're not looking stressed don't worry about them not totally acting normally right now because life is not normal right now. Are they eating?

That's true. Definitely don't want to do that with the large tank. Yep! They are still eating.

Wouldn't the dechloronator from the water changes kill the bacteria though? I do remember muddying that up.

Do Big WC the put dechloronator, wait 24hrs before adding a tetra safe start, then wait 24hrs before first feeding and keep checkin for ammonia everyday, ask J jaws7777 how many bottles you need for your tank, i had to used 3 bottles for my tank.
