i was looking for options on a cichlid to add to the new tank but didt want more than 1 more probably would have been a headache, isdo2 suggested getting her a male and tbh i never thought about breeding but figure what the heck the 150 will be empty so why not... i really want a loisellei pair too

has the het ever put the moves on porkchop ?These two seem to be doing fine. I still think the congi is stressed pretty bad and may have some air trapt cant put my finger on it but when she desends from getting air shes a little wobbly but loos better than last night.
Nope, never tried. Though it would be funny... picture a chihuahua and great dane, lol. That is kind of the size difference.
Can you give them some cover/decor so she can feel more secure and settle in?

I hardly ever put cover while in qt. Like to be able to see the fish/observe and since they are on the bigger side they could harm themselves

I used to think it was some kind of dominance thing.. like the boss makes the other provide cover who knows lol
