looking good mike...... what is the lease rate you getting on your fish these day? :)

Well the going rate is actually $5 indefinetly. As fate may have it, that's what I'm paying for the Tig. Lucky me?

The gars are about 8-9", so its pretty average. Around here they go for $50-$100 depending on LFS. But new fish won't be for a while. I'm going to focus on decor for the next week or two. :headbang2

Going to try feeding shrimp tonight, btw.

You can get them in PA for 25.00 a peice and the tank as at least 8 of them to choose from. My biggest one is 13" and I know I saw one bigger than that in the tank the other day.

If you're in South Jers. might be worth the trip.. if you're in north jers. might not be.

Nice tig though. Looks good in there.

The LFS I have in mind is only like 20min from my house so its not a big deal. I just got the tank at a bad time. I've got to pay for shore houses, prom, MDW, limos, etc. Senior year is rough as far as money goes.

that tig looks nice

leave the lights off for a few days to let him settle they can take upto a week to start feedin

very nice

I threw in some Hikari pellets this afternoon. At first the Tig just ignored them, however his attitude changed slightly once the pellets were in the water for a minute or two. Althought I didn't see him eat any, I came back downstairs 20 minutes later and there were no pellets in sight. I threw some shrimp in tonight so we'll see what happens tomorrow morning.

Very sweet cat! Looking great!
