hey guys, just catching up with threads now - out of town for the weekend in baltimore, so my access is limited.
that being said, yeah, i decided to clarify on the species in question once i realized from a few sources (PM and posts) that people were thinking these were indeed tropical gars as the initial theories had proposed. juvie gar ID is definitely not a cake walk (for any of us)!
checked on them this morning before leaving and it looks like they all ate (they were hit or miss the day they arrived, but it has been quite the stressful set of trips i am sure). will continue to update and notify you guys of the post-study plans for the fish well in advance. thanks for all the comments so far!--
