Actually, they can. They scream their lungs out!

hyacinth is a bird i would like to have eventually but the cassowary is the real bird to have brother john...the ultimate in JDM animal keeping ...cassowary = full grown aimara

even with my large piece of property, keeping a cassowary will be a challenge...cause with it in the backyard, even I wouldnt be able to go back there without armor hahaha

I think you would do well with one if you got and it raised it from a chick.It may tolerate you and remain somewhat friendly as it matures.I've read that they perfer to stay hidden in the bush in the wild but of course know how to defend themselves.

when raise as chicks without the parents as models, they actually do well with humans....kind of like baby ducks and geese. They imprint and will be more at ease with people in general.

Emus are in petting zoos and they are picked for a reason over the ostrich and obviously the cassowary . They get "tame" with constant contact to humans....it's my dobermans I'm worried about.
