What's in the bucket?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yep, they're Engineer Gobies and a Clown. When the 1st/2nd grade teacher said she had a Clown and a couple Gobies that needed a home ,I didn't expect these mini-monsters! I thought she had a Zebra Moray in the bag until I looked closer!

It will be interesting to see what they do with the pile of crushed coral by monday...

A co-worker brought me a grocery bag with 3 fish (in two gallon-size ziplock bags) in it today.

What are they? :)

i know what they are! beatiful fish that are begging you to keep them.
eel like things would be the only reason i would venture into saltwater.

very nice have two myself!

Be prepared.. the coral will be spread out all over the place.. and fast too.

Here's mine

Those are some nice fish! I hope mine show themselves often - when I put them into the tank they instantly disappeared into the live rock (predictably).

I am going to run up to the school today if I have time, I am very curious what they've done!

Your not planning to put that Clarkii clown with the black percula in that tank are you? That black percula will be terrorized!!!

Engineer gobies are beautiful fishes... but they can really cause havok in a tank!!! Good luck with that pair. LOL

I hadn't thought there would be an issue with the different species of Clowns - I will keep an eye on them.

I expect the Gobies will try to rearrange the tank, but most of the rock is pretty big (several pounds to 40 pounds), so hopefully they won't be able to wreck things too badly!
