I got mine for $60 a while ago but they aren't available to often. I'd still pay $100 for it just due to lack of availability.
maybe when my bristlenose breeding(new purpose of current 55 gallon) gets going I'll get one they are one of my favorites
oh I was also thinking of doing something kinda odd with the 100 gallon. I was thinking half black diamond and half pool filter sand, not mixed but half the tank one and half the tank the other what do you guys think

I'm not sure how it would work out because I've never done anything like that before, so I don't know how it would stay unmixed. Maybe the sides would stay unmixed and the middle would mix.Not sure though. Other members could probably comment. Sounds like it could look cool.

through wc's, polys moving around, and the return water from the filter over time it would get mixed in

Yeah it would inevitably get mixed together, especially in the middle. But if you're careful with your WC's I think you could keep the sides unmixed for quite a while. And I think it would look pretty cool
I have no delusions that I could keep the colors separated but I think it would be a cool effect as they slowly mix
