what's in the QT?

okay just checking! lol Guess I'll have to buy another $40 drift wood piece. Would pool sand be okay with a canister filter? Or should I just spend the $20 and get some good sand?

Pool filter sand is fine. They make them in tan and white. They're around $12-$16 a 40 or 50 lb bag.

I bleached the two hides(plastic) and large smooth rocks/pebbles that were previously in the TB tank. Then put them in the QT tank. Should this be okay? Or did I contaminate it and new poly?

I would have gotten jus new stuff. There's no way to know if it's been completely cleared of potential TB.

Anyway, since it's already. Keep an eye out.

You are so right. Ironically I did that for all my equipment. Bleached tank, threw away old sand and driftwood, filters. Got new filter.

put in old decor and 3 stones. Shaking my head. Hopefully everything will be okay. Should I just keep that poly in QT for a long time? and put the other ones in the main tank?

true. Sometimes I do the dumbest things I swear. Good news is I haven't set the main tank up yet or picked up my other two polys. I think the del might be okay though. The stuff had been sitting in bleach for a long time. We will see.

Get black diamond blasting sand. Medium grain. Available at tractor supply co. wash it like you would any new sand .Dels look awesome on it and its like $8 for a huge bag of it
