You all can fit two FULL sponges plus a bag of biomax??
If I put two sponges in the biomax is half out of the water.
I use one full sponge, one cut in half, and a bag of biomax.

yah its possible just make sure that your bag of biomax is spread out evenly and not all clumped together in the mesh bag. and also try to push down on your sponges, they may creep up a bit when put back into the filter.
I'm thinkin about adding a ac110 to my 60, you guys think i can put in one sponge and thrown in some bioballs? and still give me the same effect on both mechanical and biological filtration?

For my AC70, I have a cut up sponge to fit on the intake tube. In the media chamber, I have sponge, active carbon, and two bags of biomax.

I would go with ceramic rings instead of bioballs. I think bioballs work better for water dripping type of filter like wet/dry, and not submerging in the water.
