DIDYSIS, I don't understand why the K1 isn't going through the eggcrate. K1 is smaller than the holes in eggcrate.

It looks like K3 or some other larger diameter K1 type media.
And to stay on topic my 55g sump for my 180.
I'm using 100/200 micron 7" diameter filter sock, 1 gallon Marine Pure Cer Media spheres, 5 gallon bio balls and 300pcs / 15 gallons of scrubbers.
Chemical media is ran through the reactor hanging in the back
Love the ideas guys I'm looking for a 55 I have a 50 I can use but just need to find the parts to make a new sump so are all your overflows empty no pre filters?
