What's my flowerhorn's problem?

My flowerhorn recently barred up and is chasing everything in the tank and keeps going around my Escondido pearlscale and smacking it in the face with its fin. My Escondido is A male. Idk about the flowerhorn. It's been going on for like 3 days now. Anyone have any idea?

A lot of fish will display slightly different coloring when fighting or spawning. I've seen it in those kinds of flower horns before.

I wish I knew how to sex them... I had someone try and do it for me before thru taking pictures of the vent area they said they thought it was a female but from the way it's been acting towards my male escondido pearlscale makes me wonder lol they constantly keep going around each other and slapping each other with there fins lmao.

I would just wait until it drops it's tube. My water is so good in my 210 that every cichlid has their tube dropped. It's just a matter of them pairing up.

Well it's got a tube out but I can't tell the difference between them
