Its in colorado. Nothing is nearly as cheap here as in cali haha.

Here in Wa I see 120's go for the same, about 200 to 300. So I'd start at 300 and let them talk you down to about 275. Use the leverage of your needing to buy a 180 to keep it from hitting a perfect 250.

If you were closer, I would say $100 and come get it yet tonight :)

Similar set ups around here average $300-$500. You have better filtration, heaters and lighting than the typical craigslist tank though. I believe a good place to start is $600 and let them talk you down.

chefjamesscott had a good thought...keeping what you can use for your bigger tank. Selling only the items specific to your tank, you could probably still get $250-$300.

Of course, these numbers are all just "best guesses".

Good luck!

$600? Wow Nebraska must have some crappy deals because bud if you price it anywhere near that you will never sell it....250 or so is fair imo
.

we dont get good deals here, but if i had room i'd easily pay 300-350 with heaters and filters, without probably 200-250 so start higher and it'll work down

Yep, pretty much. You do find a good bargain now and then, but its not the norm. I paid $500 for my 150 with stand, lights, 2X AC110s, Magnum 350 and about 200 lbs of sand. It wasn't a bargain, but it seemed like a fair price. I like it anyway :)

I admit, I get jealous when I see $200 180 gallon setups in SoCal on here though!

Yeah i want to keep my livestock so i think i will pay for the 180 then sell the 120 for money afterwards.

Or use the 250-300 for it for an fx5 or fx5's

Reading over the original post by you, ConvictPleco, I estimated what I would consider acceptable/fair to me if I were buying your stuff. I would have no problem offering $400-$450 for everything listed.

For just the tank, stand, lids and lights with no filtration or heaters, I would gladly pay up to $275.

x3 on keeping the heaters and filters for the next tank as well.
