What's so great about the MFK books?

Well, for starters its a great way to support MFK...i mean its a BOOK for MONSTER FISH KEEPERS!! SCORE!!

How? Is it because the book is written in a foreign language ? Like what Trust said, It was imported and not forced down our throats.

Like wise, i got several books in which i do not understand anything but the pictures.

However, its because i am featured inside and that motivate me to buy them.

as for MFK.....got the complete collection till date and till today i don't understand anything.

The books contain "Best Of Show" grade specimen pics. Once the new term begins, I'll hire a japanese-speaking student to translate the books for me. I did the same thing with a chinese aro book. Paid a student $25 to translate all the text (ads excluded) for me.

lol not a bad idea at all i work with a bunch of japanese i wonder if i could get them to do this for me (prolly more then 25$)

Well let's put it this way. It's in Japanese and you only get to enjoy the pics So imagine it as like your buying a porn magazine. You dont read anything in it and you just look at pictures. NICE PICTURES

ok for those who are still confused, the japanese MFK books are NOT related to the MFK site (which i assume you meant this forum). This forum just chose the same name, thats all.

The MFK books have been around for a number of years and are up to volume 8 now and are written in japanese because they are Japanese books written/photographed/edited/published (well you get the idea) in Japan for the Japanese market. But since the contents (photos) are so awesome that people outside japan also want them and so import them from japan, even though many can't understand the text...but who cares
