heyy guys, im just wondering and wanted to know more about this kind of driftwood, and just wht's so special about it compared to other driftwoods. i mean like what's with the 'Malaysia" for? can anyone elaborate it ? lol

it sinks and it lasts with little to no breakdown for many years. I've got a piece that's been in my blackwater tank for 9ish years and it is just as solid as the day I put it in the tank.

Great info.

It's super hard wood that doesn't break down. It is very expensive! I have a 100 lb piece in my 600 cost $200

lol i was about to ask tht. but from my opinion, some woods here can lasts for yrs maybe hundreds underwater. i think it is the Borneo Ironwood (u can google it), they are very heavy even those tht have been cut into small rectangular shapes, but this kind of tree are protected which makes it very expensive.
