What's the BEST filtration system that you can get for 150 to 200 gallon tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im prefer sump filters i had plants in my 90 and they were fine with a sump just wont grow as fast thats all

a wet/dry is not a sump but can be incorporated into one. the wet/dry part is where water is trickeled over some sort of media so that the areobic bacteria have a great place to colonize. i would suggest doing some reaseach into wet/drys for both of these monster tanks

p.s. why are you putting the bigger fish in the smaller tank?

Thankx we are actually going to make a 500 gallon as well.....MUCH APPRECIATED!:D

What an "ehiem" filter and is it better then going WD or is it WD filtration?

wet dry is the best to go for large tanks. the 100 and 150 you can get away with couple canister filters.

if your really diehard, you can always have a centralized filter and hook it up to all the tanks together. :D
