2 x 250-300 watt eheim jaegers would be good for a 180. IMO I personally go for 2 heaters over 1 just in case 1 fails and one won't constantly be on (longer life with the heaters)

great heater and the box says "indestructible" so its great for large fish

The only heater I trust now is the Fluval E 300 watt. I have those in all my tanks, almost any fluval e series heater will work.

Yes BIRD_MAN, that is the heater with the digital display. I have 2 of the Fluval E 300w in my 155 (60x24x24). They have worked great thus far. As previously mentioned, if you're keeping big aggressive fish (Cichlids in particular) the E series is a great fit. Other than that, the Aqueon Pro is popular (though the largest is only 250w) and any titanium heater will hold up to big fish torture (titanium heaters are notoriously expensive though.
I had one of these and it failed in 3 months....I would avoid them.i use the Aqueon Pro heater
