Probably the Poly section
ok so for a rocky tanganyikan or malawi cichlid community, what rock would you use? lace rock/honeycomb limestone granite chunks granite slabs, slate, other please post why what you choose, and if you choose other then what you would use.

I dont have a preferance really but like river rocks looks an texas holey rocks holes for hideing places

I would avoid lace rock, or any other sharp rocks for that matter. Chased fish can do some damage to themselves bolting through sharp rocks. Plus, I have found that lace rock tends to hold tons of crap in its little nooks and crannies leading to nitrate problems if the tank is not meticulously maintained. I prefer to use river rock and/or granite chunks.

I might get some flak for this, but I used "Base Rock". Non Seeded Live Rock.

Looks in my opinion and I got a good deal $45 for 50lbs shipped on Ebay.
