whats the best why to kill Aiptasia

If you're not growing any corals a "chocolate chip" type star from the genus Protoreastor will get rid of them in no time, only problem with them is they eat every cnidarian they can reach.
 
Cheapest easiest way to kill it off: drastically change the pH of it and then use a siphon tube to suck it off the rock.

Inject it with freshwater (low pH) or mix calcium carbonate into a solution and use that (high pH).

No need for fancy petstore crap.

no need to worry about it anymore i got my little baby mantis shrimp out if the rock (he is a little cutie ) so i just took out the rock and gonna let it die in some freshwater :)
 
also getting him out off the rock RESULTED IN THIS

Exactly what I would have suggested.
 
One of the curators I used to volunteer for would take out the live rock and use a blow torch. No seriously! :D Works like a charm, but of course you kill a lot of other stuff too. Depends on what you have the patience for.
 
Lots of people use that same trick to get unwanted mantis shrimp out of rocks, good thinking :)

btw, you have any idea what species mantis you have?

i got a baby peacock mantis she is so cute
she is black and then has little white dots along her sides i havnt seen her for a day or to but shes fine
