What's the biggest juruense you've ever seen?

I thought I'd reference this thread for a record. Not sure why Weirdfishlover has not reacted to my last post, bottom of page 1, but I think that post summarizes my current state of "turbidity" when it comes to jurs and their colors.

I agree completely with you Viktor. IMO the consensus on this issue is that it is in the eye of the beholder. I also can't help but notice that larger, adult 'flash zebras' are often fish that, when younger, were considered 'just jurs'. I think the contrast and color comes with size and maturity.

A little while back one of our vendors was making a hubbub about bringing in 'real flash zebras' from some special tributary off of a river somewhere. When they came in, they DID actually look different from the run of the mill jurs that we see.

Does anyone happen to remember who that was? I can't seem to find it again. :/
 
I don't remember if it was on here or not but eczs on aquabid was selling "true flash zebras" at like $1,000 or something ridiculous and making a big deal about it
