whats the biggest tank i can put on the second floor???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a 100gal in my apt. I live on the 2nd floor. What I did, was built a platform and put the tank on that. Thus spreading the weight across more of the floor joists. I then purchased renter insurance that covers any damge I do, and yes it even includes damgae caused by flooding due to a fish tank. I asked them. It only cost 137 bucks for a whole year, not to bad for a little more piece of mind.

you rent?

just do it

seriously its not that big of a risk if youre smart about it, the renters insurance is a good idea too, and itll cover more than just a leaky tank.

If I am still living in an apartment and don't own my own home yet, should owning a 1,000 gallon tank be my top priority? Heck who knows!? This is MFK after all !!!!! :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:

Owning a 1,000 gallon tank SHOULD ALWAYS BE TOP PRIORITY!! :naughty:
