Strange question. I'm sure it depends on the type of food and species of fish. Ever seen poo from a 27" GG:WHOA: ?
 
I'd say it depends on the food . . . typically, with my cichlids it appears mainly brown or brownish-green . . . what you don't want to see (typically) is anything clear or whitish, and anything stringy or that doesn't drop from the fish

that seems to hold true for cichlids, anyway . . .
 
I agree with the others but I think fish poop should'nt be near white in color.
 
I feed the hikari gold pellets so their poop is sometimes pinkish red and I feed them massivore. They poop brown when they eat market shrimp :D
 
Same colour as their food, not white. :P
 
Even a healthy, parasite-free fish will poop white if you fast it too long. So will people. But, yeah, the food colors the turd.
