whats the difference between Ecuador and Peru festae?????

What are the difference between the ecuador and the Peru type of festae. Im trying to look it up on google but nothing really pops up. Ive seen where there are male and female featae that have that really dark green and some females are really orange or red with solid black bands. Ive also seen some males where they get a gold with black bands and some where they are just gold with a lot of spangles. So my question is what are the difference between the two in coloration and

So basically it depends on the genetics not where they come from.

Yes and no. Their location will play a role in particular genetics. And by knowing where they come from will help someone know how they might turn out to help make a decision on a purchase. But there can also be genetically weak fish come from any location. So there's nothing fool proof

Fish collected from different sites may have diverged enough to have different morphologies, even if it's the same species. That's all. Don't know if there's really a mark difference between Peruvian and Ecuadorian Festaes tho.

supposedly the color variations are typically richer in one vs the other, but I've seen both look pretty dam sexy to me.

Not sure if this is important here but I was told festae don't handle line breeding well. Apparently deformed fish is the result even with good genetics. So what ever you pick try and get a few non related fish.

If it's 'good' genetics then chances of deformities forming would be low. >.> The precise definition of 'good' genetics entails a lack of deformities, and a low chance of mutations that would lead to such deformities...

Good care, and quality diet for the fish makes the fish's colors rich and the fish healthy. Not one location is richer in colors than the other..
It's mostly the quality of the individual.

stop talking like Peru was on one side of the world and Ecuador is on the other side of the world.

What if these locations dont have names? Human never roll thru there and never had a name for the place? U'll see that they are one big area. Human claim territories and have names for their territory. Got jacksiht to do with them fish in the water.
