Whats the difference between stable and unstable DATS

Move environment around, give them a peaceful tank with less activity. It's just like a mood.

Get them in a good mood, can't hurt.

Thats interesting-the only time we've seen our large Indo stable was for one day when he was one of the first to go in the tank. Next day when we added more fish he went dark and hid. I've got him in with Florida gar, Silver Dollars, Bichirs. 95 Harley do you reckon he doesn't like the movement? I added the Dollars as dither fish in a hope to get him out more.

bah, I personly think th stable Dat thing must be with the fish you get my tank is as peaceful as you can get and i have one which is always golden, and the other one is darker.

but the darker one is only dark when he hides. so surely its up to the fishes mood
