Okay, everyone in the world want a Blue eyed Panaque...Does anyone know the L number for the Blue Eye? I used to...but I've forgotten.
Anyhow, the other question is this...
Why is there such a huge difference in price between the Blue Eyed Panaque and the L137??? Check this out.

Also, (OK, too many questions) do you think the L137 is as cool looking as the B.E.P???

As you can see, I'm tempted---hugely tempted

L137 are very common, and do not have a very intense blue eye. Also L137 refers to both a blue eyed and brown eyed red bruno. The contrast between red and brown vs black is not the same either.

We see L137s around the northwest all the time. Several of the shops near me keep them in stock year round.

personally i'd look at them as two completely different fish, just on merit as they look different in shape and colour lol. I'd say the blue eye is a lot rarer to come by and a lot more of a high profile plec (in high demand). The L137 is a nice plec neither are a substitute for the other in my opinion. If you like it, buy it! That's what's important.

Well, I felt weird thinking that the Blue Eye and the L137 were nearly a tie in the good looks Department.

Now the question is...is about $90 too much for an L137?? That's what it would be with shipping. Instinct says "whoa!!!! Too much cash." For that kinda money, I'd almost rather have an L160...which would be about the same $$.
Opinions?

L-137 and 77 are totally different fish, number wise. I would say that a decent price for the former is anywhere from 20-40. 15 is an unrealistic price for those that are not wholesale and are looking to purchase on the professional curcuit.
L077 and L137 sell for $15 in this are routinely. Just because they are one price in your area, does not mean that is the only price they are across the nation.
