What's the difference??

I realize that, however, I have been throughout the midwest area, and have many loricariidae companions in the area, not to mention that I have lived in the NY/NJ region for over 8 years. Furthermore, I know many individual dealers in the area and actually obtained my first L-137 from a fellow based in the area. Even the wholesaler at my resident store of two years employment markets them for more than fifteenfor 4"-5"ish individuals. While they may be cheap in your area, a considerable breadth of information seems to agree that such is not the norm.

Over in the west I have seen them across washington, idaho, and into oregon all in a similar price range. The norm is going to be different in different areas, it is dependent on the suppliers in the area.

Well, online is the only place for me to get ANY exotics that don't look half dead for $60 and up. My LFS always has some exotics, but they look pathetic and SKINNY, and start at 49.99 to 59.99 for an inch or two of fish.

Online, I can get one for $45 but shipping adds more $$. I probably ought to just see what else he has and fill the box. That would bring the price per plec down to a decent range...hmmm, am I talking myself into more fish?:nilly: :nilly: :screwy:

By using the word norm, I meant more in a country-wide sense.

In any case, actually, I'd like to ask a favor of you;

seeing as how most of my eldest cousin's family lives in the sweet home/ lebanon (sp?) region of O, I visit about once everyten or so weeks, and the stores there are reasonable, but not nearly to the extent that you have listed (I actually purchased a c. tukano---but only one, for about 13 bucks there...like I said, reasonable, but not exceptional). These prices seem fairly stable around the area; have any LFS hot spots you're likely to share?
