Recently? At those prices I can have a school of them.

whats the word on these? They are captive bred....but from where? Are they more bahia's?

Unlesss you collect them yourself a TRUE collection point is a crapshoot.

These are Captive Born

This is not true.. There are reputable seller on here that could tell you exactly what area your cichla are coming out of. 250 is a lot of bread for captive bred kelberis.

he asked what the going rate was and no one spoke up :nilly: now everyone is complaining? I dont get it.

It's hard to give a going rate without any specific info.

Start selling like that and everyone will only be buying from you. But the fact is their not wild and you can't charge the prices for wild on captive breeds. So for captive breed you should be looking around these price ranges.

1. without a picture the question makes no sense ....can be anywhere between 100 to 1000 based on the quality of the fish.
2. collection point is not crapshoot....vendors like Sharq Aquarium or TUIC always list them ...do I believe them? yes because I was on one of the (Rio Nanay, Peru w/ SA)

Wow this got out of hand. I never said you can not get exact point location. ( Some Vendors are fortunate enough to have gone to the area's fish were collected and or have established collectors, All the power to them) I did say unless you collect them yourself. Or if you have a person in the field with a GPS. I do not sell fish with a listed collection point unless I am 100% sure. SORRY ( Not how I do business)

So with all this said I will be bringing in 2-3 (5-6 inch) Captive bred ( Probably Asia or Indo ) (Point location Unknown) Kelberi Peacock bass ( Possibly Bahia but not sure).

Price will be $200 per fish or 2 for $350

Pics will come in if fish are not sold pre-order
