But i agree IMO theres no such thing as most colorful, there are a lot of colorful cichlids it will only depend on wich color you are looking for, you can ask which is the most greener or reder and then you can get an answer.

Agreed. It also varies so much from individual to individual. Diet, water conditions and breeders make such a huge difference its hard to pick 1 species that trumps all
