What's the most grusome death one of your fish has suffered?

No. This is the one I kept. The other was a silver, and was beating on him.

I also have a lima that broke his face, but survived. He's funny looking, but still healthy.

I went out to service a customer's tank one time, and they had been on vacation the week prior and came home to a very bad smelling brown tank..Started by doing a water change, and about 15g into the change the water stopped siphoning out...pulled the gravel vac out and attatched was their 18" RTC. Pulled him out and after further investigation it looked like he swallowed an M80 and it went off in it's belly..

Turns out that right before they left for their week long vacation, they bought 600 goldfish, and threw them all in the tank at once...My best guess (based on the gag-inducing, appetite destroying stench) was that it ate all it could eat as they left and exploded the night they left..
It was hard to tell how many of them it actually got down because the fish were so decayed you couldn't tell if they were partially digested or not..

I've had a few:

I had my favorite (and first) Briggs snail torn apart by an Angel fish. I was just a kid and didn't really know how aggressive angels could be. I should've figured it out, however, because he had taken a few curiosity nips at Chugger (my snail). I thought that he'd level him alone once he'd sated his curiosity and realized Chugger wasn't food. Apparently he decided the opposite--he wanted some escargot and Chugger was on order. I was very upset.

My greatest single loss came around the same time. My parents and I went away during winter break to Washington DC and left a friend to house sit, including watching my little 10G aquarium. The friend did us the "favor" of saving us some money by turning off all our electrical appliances--like my aquarium heater--and turning off our heat. It got down to under 30F while we were away and when we got home the inside of the house was in the low 30s. I even had ice crystals forming at the very top of the water! Amazingly one Cory survived, but all my other fish were dead. Have to admit I've never really forgiven this idiot. Besides killing my fish he could've destroyed our plumbing too...

One of my Golden Wonder Killies got sucked into the filter while the tank was getting cleaned. :(

I had a silver arowana, id grown him from a 3” baby towell over a foot. I had heard that arowana will occasionally try to jump fromtanks but mine never had. on this particular day I was doing my water changeand general tank cleaning when I heard the door bell. so I quickly run to thedoor and returned to cleaning my tank. after a few minutes I noticed he wasn’t inthere. I frantically moved every plant and piece of bogwood, still no sign. itmust have jumed. then I notice my dog sitting by the back door shacking. sheknew she was in trouble and it soon dawned on me that the fish was if aliveprobably in a bad way. so I run to my dog but the fish is nowhere to be seen. Ithen here a slapping noise coming from the kitchen, it is my beloved arowana.when I went into the kitchen it was not a pretty site, the dog had managed tochew the fish in the very short time I was answering the door. it had puncturewounds all over it, through the gills, belly. and where it was flapping aroundthere was blood everywhere. I quickly picked him up and put him back in thetank but he lasted a few minutes then went belly up and started gasping, so I donethe right thing and put him in a large bucked and slowly added some clove oil.it truly broke my heart.

Worst massacre I lived through happened last year. I had cats jump my fence chew up all my water hyacinth so they see all of my fish better what they didn't eat they let float. I'm thinking about getting a caiman. The most gruesome death any of my fish has suffered was a male black crown tail betta. I made him a planted betta harem. I thought I was doing him a favor by putting him in a to gallon with half a dozen females.

My wife had to have an African clawed frog for our 125 Flowerhorn tank, so she got one, she called my office and told me how excited she was about a new fish for the aquarium so I left and ran home to see what it was not amazed to see my wife and daughters in shock when the bag was filled with blood, because the Flowerhorn snapped at it through the bag.. Not really a massacre but funny with all respect...

Did my first water change and forgot the Prime conditioner and had the water temp from the hose outside which was 61 degrees farenheit. Half of the fish didn't make it pass 15 minutes.
