Whats the most intelligent fish you've had?

my group of 8 steatocranus tinanti.

Most interactive communal fish i have ever came across, they have a very intricate way of talking to each other.

my Nile Perch was so smart... learned where the food came from within 2 hours of being introduced to the tank... swam right up to the glass everytime I walked by from then on forward... he literally fed 3 and a half minutes after being introduced to the tank too.

i would call that hungry lol

My jar , he hates my cats will follow them across the tank in aggression when they walk across his tank and tries to bite their tail through the glass ( think he can take them on LOL)

by far for me it hands down is my nandus nandus he changes his colors to match my tank decore and will come and flick against my hand if i put it in the water and he jumps for food. dont know why but he is pro he is 3 inches and survives with 14-16" fish and doesnt have a scratch lol
i expected him to be extremely shy but wow was i wrong haha. Image18.jpg
try and find him lol he is pretty much the exact color of the driftwood.

The most intelligent and fun loving adorable attitude were my two pacus.. both of them beat all my others in personality and charm.. when you looked at them through the glass they would automactically start doing a fish dance.. and i swore they were smiling.. they also were fun to feed.. they would wiggle and waddle begging like a dog.. just the smartest ..

My oscars are like big great danes of the fishy world. i literally have to move them with my hands because they constantly hang around my hand when doing tank work or trying to catch someone else. i would say all my fish are equally interactive though. if you saw a video you would understand. its Evan Almighty scene everyday here.

definitely my parrot fish. he follows me everywhere. he jumps out of the tank when i have food. he rearranges the gravel onto different sides of the tank. hes even chased a red beam light i had before.
I have a universal symbol for all of my tanks when its feeding time to clap twice. then everybody goes friggin insane. i can completely tell that they understand this. my cuckoo catfish start running around in circles. my indo datnoid shakes his head back and forth. my morbidly obese featherfin synodontis starts swimming upside-down. my giraffe cat trys to swim through the glass in my direction. my bala shark also swims up to the glass. my three jack dempsies just stare. the big one occasionally shakes his head back and forth. my yellow labs swim up to the glass and eye me. my plecos dont give a **** lol. no worries these fish are all in different setups.
i also have a universal symbol for bloodworms that gets everybody dancing 80's style ;}. i have a disco ball, lava lamp, play some THRILLER and dish out the crack, JK!

Definately my texas cichlid. I had to move him a few times to other tanks and he quickly learned to hate the net. He would go from begging for food to hiding in his cave as soon as I brought it out. This trick helped me control his aggression too.
