I going to get a 450 in the next few months for my Cichlids and turn my 220 into a 'Toga Tank.

Yeah I gotta say when I first got my 55 (first ever tank) it seemed massive and I thought any fish would fit (noob). But now its tiny and nothing full grown seem like it would fit. As for my 220, It was massive, I mean it was the tank of all tanks to me, now its some piddly little thing that needs replacing. 450 (8'x3'x2.5') seems like a largegish tank to me but 1000 is BIG.
I went to my LFS today and asked for an exact price on a 8x3x2.5 as I've got enough money for what they quoted on a 8'x2'x2.5'. But when I said 3' wide they told me no, I can only go 2' wide, what a joke. So I told them, its not a discussion, either you guys make the tank or I'll buy it else where, they told me to give them acouple of days to seewhat they can do.

Anyone from South Australia on here know a place to buy good tanks from, prefrably for minimal ammounts of money.

I have a 7x3x2.5 sitting in my garage waiting for my new floor to go down, can't wait, just have to find out how to plumb the thing after that!
I have 3 wide bars to go in and should be a motoro aswell! After that a female motoro and then I will have time to decide what else. I have some cichla i might keep, and maybe a payara.

Any suggestions?

I'm working on my monster fiberglass tank right now....see my avatar! Just got it yesterday via UPS Freight. It is 8 x 4 x 3 roughly 700 gal. Took 3 days off from work. Yesterday spent the day doing the plumbing to the garage. That viewing window is really sweet! I will probably put pond lights for night viewing...in red! Will post pics when finished. My wife thinks I lost my marbles!
