What's the one fish you KNOW you'll never ever ever ever be able keep?

1) snakeheads, used to keep them years ago and they jumped out and died before they were illegal. Very neat fish.

I would love to have Oscars. They are so smart and just funny. Back when I knew nothing of fish, I had two Oscars and I absolutley loved them. I taught one of them to jump out of the tank to grab a frozen fish. I know whenever I have room I'll have a huge Oscar tank. As for a fish I would never be able to have, a giant moray eel. Those things are huge.

Brook trout.....i would mever be able to afford a chiller for them......but they are a beutiful fish.....and predatory to boot.

For me its not that I can't keep fish I want. Generally I can't find the fish I want available anywhere to buy.

i cant keep 99% of the fish you mentioned above, because lfs dont sell them here. (despite some gars and other asian fish)
