What's the point?

Hi,

I have the same problem, atm with my Channa asiatica breedings.
There are still some left from last year, and my pair has again loads of fry.
Maybe I'll keep some of the bigger ones, to get a second pair.
But what if both pairs get fry ?
Maybe I use them as feeders.
And what if all my 14 species of channa breed, man I would be very happy ;-)

Cheers

Why not use them as feeders? I'm kinda in same ship! My red belly piranhas are breeding machines! They breed faster than I can sell them! Their basically free!their Homegrown!their clean!did I mention their almost FREE? My babies feed all my fish from gatf to oscars to peacock bass to 5 different kinds of piranhas.

Hey Brucki,
It looks like we're in the same boat! I heard you're asiatica had bred again, congrats. If I was a bit closer to you I'd have some of those fry. I suppose using them as feeders is going to be the only option, although I've found a local specialist shop that's going to take some which I'm happy about.
I didn't realise you'd got 14 different species!! What 'easy' dwarfs would you recommend for my next breeding project? I'd like some assam, but it gets to hot for them where I am. Harcourtbutleri's would be nice if I could get some.

ughhhh if only douche bags in America didnt release their snake head i would buy all of them off of you!!!!

x2 :(

The snakeheads around here weren't even released! They exscaped from a fish farm!keep looking for a buyer! If you do breed em. Start small with your fry operation!cheap n easy!! Only expand if the fry pay for it!

sucks your even thinking of inbreeding your fish :(. this is how/why we have crappy quality fish in the lfs at all. too much weak-gened incest going on just because people don't think fish are affected by incest like people are.
