What's the quietest air pump?

I have a 30g bichir tank and I want to get an air pump that's as quiet as possible. Which model and brand would you recommend?

I have a 30-60 whisper dual outlet air pump and an aqua culture 30-60 dual outlet air pump. I bought both these pumps at Walmart. The whisper was like $15-$16 bucks I think and the Aqua Culture one was like $11. The reviews for these 2 pumps are mixed, either love um or hate um no in between. Both of these pumps put out very well imho. Both of these pumps are very quiet as well, can't even tell they are there. I cant comment on the durability of the pumps because ive only been running them about a month but hell, if it only lasts 6 months you only got $11 dollars in it so no biggie. If your on a budget i dont think you can go wrong here. Hope this helps bro. Happy Fish Keeping!

Ive been running a whisper 20 for over a year now, its very quiet and works well even till this day.

i always put my air pumps on a washcloth keeps the noise that is transferd from the vibration down i like rena pumps but they wear out the rubber feet same with aqua culter wihisper dosnt do this as bad but that is y i use the wash cloth keeps them from wearing down and if ya check the screws and keep them snug then the above mentiond pumps shuld stay quiet for a long time .

Quiet airpump? the best i heard are the luft series.. they are quiet.. and not loud unlike ur other ones..

Either that or brand new airpumps are the best in terms of quiet...

Eitherway.. airpumps are bound to get worn out sooner or later...
