What's The Smallest "Monster" You Know Of?

I'm pretty skeptical about it but what does anyone think about a single exodon in a heavily planted tank? If provided enough comfort in the plants, would this be a fair idea? Another note, the Fluval Spec 5g has about a 17.5"x6.5" footprint so it's got a little more back and forward swimming space. This in regard to all species not just an exodon.
 
Perhaps one of the smaller species of mantis shrimp, since everyone is suggesting crustaceans. And they are "mini monsters" based on the OP's definition based on being predatory.
