A shoal of like 20 feeding vittatus would still mess it up pretty good! Probably not kill it but give it a good bit of damage.

Glyphus shark may be the ultimo if some suggestions on their life are correct. If they spend their whole lives in or very near rivers in northern australia, they may be the most adapted shark to those conditions.

True Freshwater though i think it belongs to the GATF.. those teeth... that size.. that speed... its a nightmare for local fishermen

my money is on snakeheads, and the ATF will not kill HUGE crocs, more likely other way around. guys keep it to FISH ONLY,otherwise hippos or gustave will snatch the prize

For the arapaima vs gator gar discussion, I wanted to add a little fuel to the fire....

Alligator gar LOOK like monsters with all of those visible teeth. But after spending time in the water with both over the years, gators are kinda whimpy compared to an arapaima of the same size. It's been my experience that arapaima are much faster and more aggressive when compared to a gator gar - especially when feeding.

That being said, messing around with adults of either speices is not something I'd suggest for most people. Haha

paimas are underwater battering rams, I would rather swim with gar, however sturgeon would be the hardest to take down.

Sturgeon definitely up there in the ultimate freshwater list but you have to agree that one of the coolest is the freshwater sawshark the things have a saw attached to them! How cool is that.

saw fish mostly attack smaller fish, however they can get to monster sizes and have the weaponry to defend themselves possibly.
