then again.. to be honest.. I never really see 6 foot goliaths or ten foot paimas or gars tho

True... But I didn't say six foot GATF. I said 4-5', which is extremely well documented to regularly exist still.

I haven't read the entire thread but anybody mention the Goonch? That's a couple hundred pounds of bad intentions. Wasn't that the face ripper on Monster Fish? I'd say that a pretty good candadate.

It's been brought up and appears to be a strong contender in this debate. It's certainly the top catfish.

Face ripper... as in Atlantic tarpon? I'd put that into the same category as bull sharks and white sturgeon myself.
