I'm fine with it being a theory. A theory is something that is fully supported by available scientific evidence, but is not directly proven. As such, the theory that a large GATF would be able to kill and eat a sturgeon, paima or gator gar is a sound theory. Will we ever be able to actually test it? No. Does the evidence support that it's possible? That's a resounding yes.
What do you mean that Nile perch aren't that wide?! They are a very thick bodied fish! They can get 7' long and upward of 400 pounds, they're a legit contender to the crown of largest freshawter fish, but for some reason don't get the credit they deserve. For example, the fish I'm posting below was 308 pounds. These fish live with Hydrocynus brevis which is scientifically proven to kill and eat them ONE ON ONE!
