whats the worst thing u have done?

What is the worst thing you have done to a fish? Dosen't have to be on porpose. I think the Worst i have done, was uthanise a fish, but had a failed first attemp, so it made it worse. that sucked. I had several small convicts die, so i got a slingshot, and fired them at my wall. SPLAT (REMEMBER. they were already dead.) Once when a big 4" convict died, we played baseball with it (ALREADY DEAD). I guess the worst thing i have done to live fish was chug a thing of bottled water with feeder a dozen gups in it, but i guess they could have died worse (ive seen gars teeth spare threw them and the were still alive )

though i have euthanized a few fish, they were ussually too far gone


the worst i guess would be not aquarium fish, but gamefish


and baitfish


i often fillet bonita alive to make nice bloody sharkbait but other than that nothing much


i also just lastnight had one of my 3 coolers full of collected fish jsut go totally dead on the way home from north carolina


about 40 dead juvinile grunt sucked balls i felt sooooo bad

i went fishing with my dad, and one of his friends. the friend would catch a blue gill, release it and pull out a gun a shoot it. Great aim. It was the friends dads private proparty. Not public.

Never felt the need to do anything with the dead ones-flush a fish down the toilet once, guess that's the worst thing I've done to a dead fish.

Back when I had 5 tanks, I was moving a gibbiceps to a larger tank on a water change day, but got distracted by someone at the door.

Came back and began doing a water change on the tank the gibby was in and wondered to myself: "Where in the world is that gibby hiding when it's like 7"???"

Then it dawned on me... looked down at the bucket full of sludge from siphoning the gravel... somewhere in the muck there was a very pissed off gibbiceps

Worse thing I probably did was feed my african cichlids Nerds once lol. They liked them alot and it didnt harm them. They went nuts over them and you could see green water come out of their gills when they ate them(the nerds were green obviously). Would obviously never do that again. That was when I was younger.

What DO you do with dead ones then if you only flushed it down the loo once?!?!?

To one of my own fish? Nothing that I can think of, nothing that was specifically caused by me anyway.

My husband took the filter intakes off of one of our tanks while he was siphoning once, not even thinking about it and several danios ended up in the filter - oops, lol.

As far as fish in general, I've gone fishing and eaten a lot of fish, so hooking and fileting them I guess.

Worst thing I've done is cut up bunker and mackrel for bait ( dead and frozen)
and I killed a couple blue fish to come home and eat them.
