I've scalled filleted a few fish while there were alive. I threw them on ice first, but they were certainly alive when I started to clean them.

Oh, I tore a catfishes gills open to get a lure back. That was gross.

I was syphoning the water out my community fish tank to do a water change and was distracted by the T.V. Next thing i know, my goldfish got syphoned up, stuck in the hose, and had his eyeballs and guts ripped out of him. i felt soo bad.

worst thing??? thats an easy one. one time immediately after rew ling in a small rockfish, i filet'd the fish and ate the sashimi in front of the fish. after finisin one side i fileted the other side and ate it to. the fish was still alive the whole time...what can i say i was hungry:D ...it was quite delicious!:nutkick:

That sounds like something from the hostial Movies.

What DO you do with dead ones then if you only flushed it down the loo once?!?!?

Bin them, use as food to something, or goes in compost.

I pulled a gourami out of my tank and bashed it against a table because it was nipping my goldfish.

ahahaha o man. all i did with my gourami was a little conditioning. everytime it nipped at another fish, i would keep my hand above it, above the water. when it surfaced, i tapped it's head with a finger rather hard. it no longer nips at fish. idk about bashing it against a table, doesn't really give it a chance to show you if it has learned its lesson

accepted a 33 gallon tank with
a 9" oscar
male con 4 "
female con 2"
silver dollars 3"
jaguar 6"
africa cichlid 6"

keeping them there for 9 months now and not upgrading for another year due to renting issues

on the upside i do water changes (75%) every other day and they have not been sick since. NO HITH and such
