Whats this on my fish's fin?

This is on a fish in the QT tank. They are getting treated with Maracyn.. for a bacterial infection. But the antibodics don't seem to help this.

Ideas?

no not ich doesnt look like a solid dot, looks like its in the fin

I'm thinking it's a fungus or some sort, it's not defined like ick, just looks cloudy.

i don't think a fungus, one of my fancy goldfish have this and my water is super clean(5x the filtration!!!!!!!!!). I think its normal to have that maybe.

I think scar tissue. My red devil has like a couple of them on his tail, and it doesn't seem like its ever gonna go away, its been a while. But she seems healthy.

True fungal infections rarely occur. Your case is simply bacterial infection. Doing plenty of water changes along with Maracyn will help. Isolate the fish and keep temperature steady at 76 degrees Fahrenheit.

One of my dats have that as well. All my other fish doesn't have them. I guess I came to accept it as part of the fish. I don't think its bothering him (my fish) in any way anyways.
