Looks like a gremlins gona hatch out of it , if it does don't feed it after midnight and defo don't get it wet 
Pretty sure I saw one of those in the movie "Tremors." If you didn't know, it's based on a true story. So I'd be careful OP. You may want to kill it with fire.
I'm glad it's a bryozoan, because I was originally going to make a remark about cutting up a bunch of Frog/Salamander eggs... a lot of amphibians are threatened species.
As a general rule, it's best to leave things alone if you cant identify them. You wouldnt wanna handle something harmful to yourself, and you definitely dont wanna hurt the environment you pulled the thing out of.
