Just got back into fish keeping after a long hiatus with life. Had a kid. Lol. Well, just saying hi and wanted to share my new flowerhorn after my last one passed a month ago. What do you guys think? This is the day I bought him from the lfs. He has since gotten a little outbreak of ich... Still treating him. One spot of ich left...

Wow, beautiful fish and congrats on the kid. I've been away from Flowerhorns for about ten years and recently got back into it myself, I had two kids. Pump that boy up and please keep us updated. He's got great potential as I already see he's got a nice head and great red coloration.

Thanks Simon! I will be pumping him up soon. I started to pump him up and he was looking awesome... But then I noticed a few spots of ich... So I've been holding back until all is clear again. When I get him heathy and on point, I will definitely post some new pics.

Update. Just finishing up on the ich treatment. Ready to pump him up! Colors already popping/deepening. Fed on NLS Thera-A 3mm from day one.
