What's up with my Midas?

Midases and red devils go through stages where turn into different colors(Mostly Black).

I didn't like it at first, but now it's kind of growing on me and looks interesting. Glad to know it's normal. This site is incredibly useful and filled with knowledge. Thanks everybody.
