I could be all wrong, but this is my theory. They look like the regular black convicts with the black spots. Pinks should have a whiter skin. Maybe I cannot determine this because of the pics. If this is the case, the black spots usually disappear when the fish start to establish dominance. Where did you get these from? I read somewhere that the black spots could be due to stress. I have purchased many like this throughout the past few years and as they mature and start breeding, they loose the black spots. If yours maintain the black spots.... man, i would so love to buy them from you because those are cool looking cons!

well the male is about 2" alreyad and he still has all his blotches. I havent really noticed them loosing any as they grow. Thy are bigger now and still look the same.

Those are pretty cool looking, if i ever saw some of those at a LFS by me i'd probably grab a couple..

There very nice looking Marble/calico/Koi convicts

those are sweet. i would want one of those to replace my flowerhorn's meal of a 4 incher

i want a male one of those to breed with my regular female cus they might be purple calico

Woofy, if that male retains those black spot, then WOW!!!! I really hope you breed him with the correct geno-type female to get more fish like that. I have a breeding project that I plan to impliment soon for convicts with lots of marbling. I went to two petsmarts last night and found a few like this, but again through my experience, they loose the black spots as they mature. Goodluck with him.
