whats with these armatus?

im actually that kind of guy...

im into saltwater for the colors. but there are pretty freshwaters. i really like RTC and paroon sharks but they arent so colorful just actually interesting.

so this guy has some teeth and is very nice. my harlequin tusk wrasse.
 
I don't really undertand what you are looking for. People have already given you answers. I kept armatus in the past and they are definately a bad ass fish. I don't know how you don't understand the attraction to them. People who have been keeping fish have been attracted to ones with big teeth since the beginning. There are very few fish that can beat an armatus in the teeth department. They are also somewhat difficult to find. This is a draw in any hobby not just fish. People always want stuff that is hard to get.

Have you seen the feeding video of the 2' armatus? Impressive beast who would make a quick snack out of your beautiful colorful wrasse.:)
 
everybody has different tastes....what you like others dont like and vise versa.... that is a beautiful tusk though very nice
 
they have big teeth, that's what's up with them, lol. tats are kinda colorful. The silver of a payara is more of a gray, too, which is different.

i like freshwater fish better than saltwater.
 
Big teeth that rip tiny little goldfishes apart and skewer them whole. That's what's so cool about them. The fact that they're teeth are so big they can't close their mouth is also pretty bad ***.
 
i just find them really cool looking who needs beuatiful colors if the fish is bad ass?
