I think he was under the impression that the Multispinosa were 'super awesome' based simply on the fact that I wanted some. (because I've never had some 
)
I also drove 4 hours and paid for gas as a 'favor' to pick these Flowerhorns up from another city.. he drove 15 minutes to my house.
He originally gave me 3 severums.. but one came in with chewed up caudal and pectoral fins, which he claimed 'happened when they were in the bucket after being netted'.. LOL. Severums don't get their ENTIRE pectoral fins chewed down to nubbins by getting rowdy in the bucket (with more severums?) That Severum died within 15 minutes of being at my house (wow what high quality).. and the other fish are needing some serious Melafix/Pimafix and likely a QT period as well..
I told him he could hook up the 4 gold severums he has, and then we could call it even..
He texts me at work the next day 'demanding' that I 'return' all of his fish because he got a bad deal and I am taking advantage of him... WTF?!?!?! (I am guessing he tossed the 2 female flowerhorns in with the big male, undivided, and all hell broke loose and the females were badly damaged)
He thinks that I 'talk bad' about his fish to lower their value so I can get more, but I think he fails to realize his fish aren't worth much in the first place, especially based primarily on the fact that they live in overcrowded (55g) tanks full of aggro SA/CA's and African Cichlids.. I basically offered to rescue all the passive cichlids that he has no clue about. (Most of them I mentioned as 'cool' cichlids as he loitered at the podium in my store.. then he goes out and buys them with no research and wants to try to breed them because I said they were 'cool'.. ie: multispinosa)

Genius guy let his Large Male Flowerhorn kill a 12" Frontosa (F0 Purple Moba, paid $200).. he would put the Frontosa in with the Flowerhorn if it 'got out of line' in his other overstocked community tank (55g)

He got the better deal by far IMO. Forget even driving for 4 hours.. anyone who complains after that isn't completly sane.
All I'll say is there's no crying over spilt milk.. if the trade is done.. then it's done.. Female quality proven FH's are worth way more in monetary value than a couple severums/firemouth/other cichlid.. Severums that size are about $7.00 for me and firemouths about $4.00..

By the way does he want to have a trade-back?I would nut punch him....A deal is a deal.....I got ripped off on craigslist...I bought the worlds WORST couch..lmao. They used "Rent-A-Center" photos on the site, and delivered it with no cushions...I put it together and went to sit down...And fell through the whole couch...They were fat...They caved the couch in on all the good spots...You know...Far outsides (it is a sectional) and the other 2 recliners in the middle...there fat ***es smushed the cushions all the way to the floor....I called him and told him "I'm gonna **** **** *** ** * **** *** *** again!"....
