I agree with pheedbak. It could be a combination of things and it may very well be a bladder disorder now. I would suggest that you make sure that your nitrate level is correct and that your ph level is between 7.6 to 7.8. It also seems that you may have the fish in too small of a tank without enough room for them to hide and take shelter. Africans need to have plenty of space and hiding places. Also, you need to keep more than two of the same species of africans together as this will prevent one fish from being isolated and picked on. I hope this helps.
